Burnt something and forgotten memories

" essay due in 9 hours. Guess I better get started-- Boil the kettle...it's gonna be a long night! And... There is nothing like the smell of burnt eggs. Nothing.  "

You know...nothing has really changed. 8 hours til my paper is due, so...8 hours til I get to sleep. It's almost frightening that I can look back nearly two years and realize i haven't learned from these mistakes. I'm on the same couch, drinking tea. Just to top it off.... someone burnt something on the stove tonight, too.
